Concertino Praga laureates at the Rudolfinum’s Dvořák Hall

It is with great pleasure that we invite all the classical music lovers to the 50th annual International Radio Competition Concertino Praga´s Gala concert of laureates.

The event is going to be held on Friday, 10 June 2016 from 7.00 PM in Prague´s Rudolfinum (Dvorak Hall). Young musicians from Russia, Romania, Canada and the Czech Republic will be accompanied by the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Libor Pešek.

The award winners will be proving their skills in front of TV cameras and radio microphones. The laureates’ concert will be broadcast live on the radio station Vltava, there will also be an online video streaming of the event. Advance tickets will be available from Monday 23 May in Rudolfinum booking office.

Viktor Maslov (Russia), piano, Overall winner of Concertino Praga 2013
Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky: Concerto for Piano and Orchestra No. 1 B Flat Minor op. 23 – 2. Andantino semplice, Allegro vivace assai 3. Allegro con fuoco

Cornelius Zirbo (Romania), violoncello, 2nd Prize
David Popper: Hungarian Rhapsody op. 68

The concert will be followed by the South Bohemian Concertino Praga Festival. The laureate’s will be performing at the concert halls or chateaus of four towns on the following days:
