Lukerya Mishneva, the Russian flutist, is 14 years old.

Lukerya Mishneva was born in Novosibirsk. She went to a music school as a vocalist at the age of four, when she also began playing the recorder. She is currently studying the flute under Tatiana Yankovskaya. She has been the Novosibirsk Governor’s scholarship holder for four years in a row. Lukerya is a laureate from a number of Russian music competitions and the 16th Youth Delphic Games of Russia (2017), a 1st degree laureate in the flute category of the International Internet Music Competition in Belgrade, Serbia (2015, 2016) and the competition’s absolute winner in 2017. In 2018, she came 2nd in the Young Talents category of the National Flute Competition in Ittervoort, the Netherlands and she also won the qualifying round of the Crescendo International Music Competition in Padua, Italy. In 2019, she performed in the Crescendo International Music Competition finals at Carnegie Hall and was awarded the 1st prize. Lukerya has played the first flute part in the Novosibirsk Youth Symphony Orchestra for two years. She has also taken part in concerts and masterclasses in Russia, Italy, USA, Switzerland, Germany and the Czech Republic.
